Company history
| 1942 | Yanagawa Haruo took over ASHIDA COMPANY that was founded as the Far Eastern general agent of Magnavox in 1924. Founded Tokyo Kakuseiki Kenkyujo (Tokyo loudspeaker laboratory) as a sole proprietorship in the Shinbashi Ekimae Tsutsumi Building to domestically produce speakers. |

| 1945 | The office, factory and warehouse burned down during the war. |
| 1946 | Moved the factory to Nakanecho in Meguro Ward and resumed production. |
| 1947 | Moved the headquarters and factory to the current location in Osaki in Shinagawa Ward. |
| 1950 | Reorganized the corporate organization and established ASHIDA SOUND CO., LTD. with capital of 500,000 yen and Yanagawa Haruo became the representative director and president. |
| 1963 | Increased the capital to 10 million yen. |
| 1970 | Increased the capital to 20 million yen. |
| 1973 | Established TOHOKU ASHIDA SOUND CO., LTD. in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture and planned to expand production as the production base. |
| 1974 | Increased the capital to 24 million yen. |
| 1981 | Awarded as a superior report corporation by the Shinagawa tax office. |
| 1984 | Yanagawa Yuzuru became a representative director and the president and Yanagawa Haruo became a representative director and the chairman. |
| 1987 | Newly built the headquarters building. |
| 1989 | Yanagawa Haruo resigned from the positions of the representative director and chairman. |
| 1991 | Newly built the headquarters building of TOHOKU ASHIDA SOUND CO., LTD. |
| 1994 | Started outsourcing production in China. |
| 1999 | Awarded as a superior report corporation by the Shinagawa tax office. |
| 2004 | Acquired ISO 14001 certification. |
| 2005 | Acquired ISO9001 certification. |
| 2011 | Awarded as a superior report corporation by the Shinagawa tax office. |
| 2015 | Yanagawa Hisashi became a representative director and the president and Yanagawa Yuzuru became a representative director and the chairman. |
